The Trust depends on volunteers to help run its events. If you would like to become involved e.g. by helping with events in your local area, please get in touch. Current volunteers include retired teachers, former officials of the European institutions, and people who have an interest in Education and in Europe. Expenses will be covered.
Part-time internships are also available with the Trust, on an unpaid basis. In addition to general administration, duties include helping to organise the following:
The work will also include contact with Scottish MSPs, MPs and MEPs, and with the European Parliament and the European Commission offices in Scotland.
The Trust is unable to offer a salary, but expenses will be covered. In addition, payment will be made for some duties (e.g. setting the Euroquiz questions) Although the internship is unpaid, useful contacts can be made and the references can be provided. Past interns have gone on to work at the European Parliament and at other European institutions and they would be happy to answer any queries you may have about working for the Trust.
